the economy

I was at a conference....I was working it. And I usually don't listen very closely to the content of the speeches and topics but this one was hard to ignore. There were two economists talking about the future of US financial stuff and it wasn't good news. They agreed that Congress has not heeded their warnings and that we are heading down a "slippery slope." How can we get Congress to listen to us?", was the question. A retired senator was in the audience and he blamed the public for the direction of the US economy. One of the speakers asked if he expected the public to be reading the reports that they sent....elaborate, complex econonmic data and futures...and the senator sat down. The audience then realized (if I may speak for us) that the congress has another agenda. It was a fascinating discourse on how deep the dollar is diving.

wild dogs

I was tramping through the countryside yesterday and I came across some wild dogs.....a pack. Snarling, barking, belching dogs...see attached. Walking around the lake was like exploring the Amazon jungle. Scary things were there like the sounds of wild animals (trucks), raptors above (robins) and predators roaming (groundhogs).

postcard

Man, it's slow. Maybe I should create a postcard and send it out. What image to use....what to use. I'll have to work on it.
